Antique 4.5′ x 9′ Brunswick-Balke-Collender Paramount pool table in excellent condition. This pool table was made in the USA circa 1941. A stunning and solidly built pool table with solid Brazilian rosewood rails and beautifully veneered curly maple inverse curved pedestal legs with copper cross stretchers to produce maximum rigidity. This pool table features a built-in recessed table ball rack, leather pockets and 1″ thick Italian slate. This pool table was well cared for by the previous owners. Standard American pool style pocket opening. Includes new cloth in your choice of colour.

Antique 4.5′ x 9′ Brunswick-Balke-Collender Paramount Art Deco pool table in excellent condition. This pool table was made in the USA circa 1941. Donald Deskey, one of America’s most creative and diverse designers, created everything from the Crest toothpaste tube and logo to the interiors of Radio City Music Hall in NYC. He designed for the Brunswick Company in the late 1930’s, modernizing the interiors of the billiard halls and bowling alleys to create a more “family friendly” atmosphere. Out of that collaboration came the Paramount pool table, one of the most beautiful Brunswick creations to date. Flamed maple and exotic Brazilian rosewood compliment the polished copper accents.

Veneered in beautiful figured curly maple and finished in natural color, hand rubbed to a velvet smooth finish, the Paramount is as attractive and rich looking as the most expensive furniture. Inversely curved pedestals of heavy core stock and rigid cross stretchers produce maximum rigidity. Equipped with exclusive built-in recessed table ball rack. The Brunswick Paramount No. 244. The finest of billiard tables in beautifully veneered curly maple, combining modern streamlined design with jumbo construction. Inverse curved pedestals. All appointments are copper plated. Rosewood rail caps.

The quality of the billiard cloth (felt) can greatly affect the playability & appearance of your pool table. Our pool tables include premium grade Championship Invitational Teflon brand name cloth in your choice of cloth colour. This is a quality, stain and water resistant, medium speed, 21oz cloth with a 75% wool / 25% nylon blend. This cloth shows fewer ball marks and the wool is less “fluffy” than most competitors’ cloth. You will appreciate the excellent playability and durability of this pool table felt.
